Leaking Stool Again! YUCK!

Here is the latest. Landon is "leaking" stool again! His belly gets really hard and distended and he is so uncomfortable; refluxing a ton, crying and not eating or sleeping. I am giving him about an ounce of prune juice in every third bottle if he will even take any. He has had some explosions that were really watery at the end so I am guessing that is the prune juice. He sees the Pedi G.I. again tomorrow. It is just so odd because he had been fine for almost 5 weeks and then slowly started getting backed up again. He is still monster sized about 16 pounds at 4 months so his size is great :) I'll update again when I know more..

I do know that Logan had issues too as a baby baby. he built up an intolerance to milk . We switched to soy and in about 3 weeks he built up an intolerance to soy too. By 10 months he was fine but he was on Prilosec for painful reflux and hypoallergenic formula for the milk and soy issues. Now he drinks milk no problem and has no reflux. He just refuses to eat veggies LOL Such a toddler.

The Happenings in BePe Baby Land

I have been busy busy busy!!!
I am scheduled for 6 up coming giveaways and reviews. The most exciting will be Nickolodans Go City Kids Newsletter!!!! That will be over the summer and I could not be happier about it. I decided to leave the give away contests to those who do it best and already know the ins and out. I have way too much on my plate right now anyway.

I will be linking the sites as they are coming up so you will have a chance to win.. But yes unfortunanly for now it is only within the US. I would lose my shirt shipping all over the world right now :) Sorry.

One review and give away just ended from Pink with Sparkles blog and another review on Popular Baby Products with the give away due for May 9th. They were fun and got lots and lots of traffic to my site.

I will list the rest as the dates are finalized.

Another Odd Dog Post

I haven't blogged about my dog "Ben the Bichon" in a while. I was sitting here watching him be smothered by my toddler and listening to the racket thinking this is odd. Ben (the dog) has this odd behavior. When Logan (the toddler)runs over to him and puts him in the normal head or body lock squeeze, Ben (the dog) growls. He doesnt bite or scratch he just stiffens up waits for the attack of the toddler and growls. After Logan (the toddler) releases, Ben (the dog) moves closer to him and stiffens to wait for more abuse. It is rally just an odd transaction between the two.

I Can Only Focus on One Thing at a Time

I used to be a much better multi-tasker. Then I had kids! I can't seem to keep up with everything I am a part of.. Blogs, message boards, websites, house cleaning, laundry, errands, working out, catching up with friends. About the only thing I do and keep up with is care for my boys :) I defiantly can never have more babies. I am just not built to have more then I do now :) One for each hand I say.

Caring for 4 Babies!!!

I must be crazy!
ok so it was not my idea so I am only taking part of the blame. A friend of mine thought it would be a good idea to "trade" kids for a day each week or so. So I take her babies one day and she takes mine the following time.
She has twin girls born the same day as Logan. So we had a few "get togethers" to get to know each others kids and let the kids play. that went well so today was the first try at "trading". The girls came here. All was great for the first hour while the baby slept and I kept them involved in activities: playing with a bowl of rice, markers and crayons, stories, snack time, and playing catch with a ball. After the baby woke up things got a bit hectic.
Let me set the scence.
Kids climbing on the back of my couch, rice all over the floor, toys strewn around, babies whining, crackers all over the place, drippy snoogy noses, and tantrums over sharing toys.

I put away all the activities that require close supervision (rice bowl, coloring, crackers) and that was a bit hard for them to take.. throwing and digging in the rice was too much fun.

Now they had apparently nothing better to do then steal toys from one another. It was amusing. I only managed to change one diaper. Every time I turned around someone was fighting or climbing on something unsafe.
Over all they did well. I mean for 3 toddlers (19 months old)all in a small space having to share and taking turns.

After the two hours I was convinced I will never open a daycare :) . Nursery school maybe~~ I like setting up activities and having a bit more structure to the day.

Baby Nap schedules

So I am on round two with baby napping and I know thatat the baby baby stage they should take 2 long naps and a catnap to get the appropriate , and restful type of sleep they need. But my kids are NOT flexible AT ALL!!!

Logan took 20 minute naps and was miserable all the time as a baby. He is a great sleeper now as long as I don't mess with his schedule but if he misses his nap or it is cut short... WATCH OUT WORLD!!!!! He is a disaster all night and wakes through the night in tears :( He was never a motion sleeper, hated the car and the swing, fought to keep his eyes open and never made it peacefully from one sleep cycle to the next. It stressed me out to no end. He flat out refused to sleep anywhere but his own spaces too. For a short time he slept only in our bed , then only in the pack and play. Then he was unable to sleep near us. He would play and roll and toss for hours. he moved to his crib again and now does wonderful in there, as long as there is not noise and it is dark.

Landon was the same way in the start due to not being able to poop and always in pain. But now that that is sorted out he is a pretty good sleeper, but again, only in his space (the car seat) and if he misses a nap he turns in to the 20 minute nap monster that completely breaks down by 5:00 and he has trouble sleeping soundly at night too if this happens. We are battling this everyday that I go to my stroller work out class right now.. I have to disturb his nap and he just can't seem to recover easily..
It does get easier and I know it but it really stinks to be in the thick of it.

Oh well, life goes on. I just wanted to share with any other mommies who are also battling this. you are not alone and it does get better with time.. Good luck!
p.s I loved the No cry Sleep Method book. It was a savior for us to get Logan sleeping at night.
p.s.s if you need some slippers or booties for your little one check these out BePe Baby

Do you have a baby, want to work out and you live in the area?

I am looking into opening a Stroller Strides Franchise and would be offering classes Mon, Wed and Fridays at 9:30 in the morning.
Located in or near Wilmington MA.
It is cardio and a full body work out for 60 minutes where you bring your stroller and babies along rather then dropping them at a gym daycare. Moms meet other moms, help to motivate one another, and have a chance to get to know other moms and work out at the same time. At the end of classes We can let those babies run wild and meet new friends.

Before diving in head first I want to get a feel for who may be interested and in the area.
Classes will have many pay options including pay per class and monthly memberships.

you can find more info about what the classes entail ~~~~ Click Here

More New Booties

I had a few suggestions to add a small part of elastic to the ankle area to ensure they wouldn't slip off. Here are the first two tries.
